I would disagree with Tom Gibson about "Instant scenery" and "EZ Scenery"...I have both and although they are written by the same author, something is "Broken" in Instant Scenery as it does not see anywhere near as many scenery libraries and objects as EZ Scenery does...I no longer use Instant Scenery for that reason.

I would agree with Tom I much prefer Instant Scenery. If Instant Scenery doesn't see your libraries you haven't applied the correct options.

To exclude buildings you need an airport editor. Airport Design Editor 9X will do that for you and allow you to place new objects too.

I have tried the demo version of EZ Scenery by Abacus and have found it to be the easiest to use.

The programs I have tried have been too difficult to use and not as easy as EZ Scenery.

I think it is a bit like IE and Firefox, if you use one and find it easy to use, you tend to stick with it and work around any shortfalls. I use Instant Scenery and find it fine for my scenery models. I cannot reccomend a good freeware object placement prog though, I use ADE9X for airfield layouts (which it is supurb at) but prefer to place objects 'in sim'.

What you have said is very true.

I am having trouble adding buildings using the Runway 12 Object placer program.

Every time I add an object in the position I want it to be in, it is facing a different direction to where I want the object to be facing. Would somebody who is familiar with RWY12 be able to tell me what I am doing?
