ATC interaction - How easy is this to do?

Post by VEGAS »

Hi guys,

stumbled across this lovely bit of film from YT featuring a Yak 18 conducting T&G's at Duxford.

I was very curious to know how the ATC interaction is possible in such as way as this chap has managed.

What software/mod's to FSX are required?

This mode of ATC interaction seems so much more realistic than pressing 1/2/3 etc.. on the keyboard to acknowledge or request ATC commands.

Very keen to know more on this. Especially as santa is supposed to be bringing me TrackIR5 for xmas and this feature would compliment it nicely. :D

Cheers.

*EDIT* - Here is the link.

SuperATC is supposed to be able to do this sort of thing. Doesn't looks as fluent in the demo vids though *-)

Perhaps a certain edetriot will answer that for you next time he pop's in. I've watched a few of his vids over the years and they're always exceptional.. that one included ;)

My prediction is that he edited out the bits where he pressed 1, 2, 3, etc. :)
