I remember seeing that bit of video in the late 60s about the same time my oldest brother was doing just that -
at the time I thought the idea of talking to one's self on first solo a bit far fetched.......8 years later I spend ten minutes
talking to an empty right seat.....aloud....on the the second circuit I was so busy I shut up , on the third I finally looked around and enjoyed the flight.


Memories --- ah they aint what they used to be ;)
