Hi Guys
After my last encounter with Falkland Sound in May 82 i have no wish to revisit any time soon :-(
if you want to shut the GPWS up
edit the part in the aircraft.cfg so it reads -1 (minus 1) and it will turn it off
ie:
[GPWS]
max_warning_height = -1 //No need for GPWS

Alternatively.. look in the FSX Sound folder for the following .wav files.. GPWS_Dont_sink.. GPWS_Pull_up.. GPWS_Sink_Rate.. GPWS_too_low_flaps_up.. GPWS_too_low_gear_up and finally GPWS_too_low_terrain. Move said files to somewhere dark on your hard drive and you'll never be bothered by bitching betty again

Red and white 767 nowadays. ;-)Pielstick wrote: It's great waiting in the passenger terminal to get on that big white 747 - everybody has great big grins on their faces because they are leaving the Falklands!
