If God had meant us to fly, he would have given us tickets.

These are fantastic!!! I just love the Vanguard... it just looks so puposeful... really stunning looking aircraft and I have never seen any of these pictures before. Thanks so much, brilliant.
I'm going to try and place these shots on the live.com aerial shots as I'm having real difficulty trying to position those grass banks etc.

Yup.. very nice.. expecially the first shot. Early colour phots are scarcer than hens teeth!
Pity No.2 isn't colour too but hey.. it's still a lovely shot ;-)

Indeed very nice photos - keep them coming
I assume that the 2nd one is G-AOYW the prototype.
And spot the Valiant WZ370 in the 4th photo

Yup.. that's the ticket ;-) You'll note the fin fillet missing on EA (which I kinda like) too
YW wore two distinctive liveries.. the one pictured and one slightly different and seeing quality shots like the one above of either is rare ;-)

Stunning.
I prefer shot three as motors like the Minor underline the greatness of the era by all means.
Cheers,
Nick.

So what's that next to the Morris Minor? Hillman springs to mind but is that just demented neurones sparking?
