Yes it does have something of a 3D effect with the blurred background and sharp aircraft in the foreground.

Hi Pete,
I think this one may a different one! That is me (age 5) watching a 707 (WZ736) arrive at RAF Tangmere for the last B of B airshow in 1963. It is taken from the Oving lane (by the old fire dump), with Tangmere church just visible.

Apologies to long suffering members who have seen this one before :$

I think there is a bit of all our childhoods in that photo, matey. It explains why we are what we are.

Super photo, Trev. I was there on that day, too. Here is WZ736 just a little after your photo was taken while later parked on the flight line at Tangmere during the 1963 display.

Here's colour pic of it, too although I'm not sure of date or location. I seem to remember posting it here before with the caption, "Hey, Dad, when I grow up..."

Actually, Dave, I don't think you are wrong. I've just checked and both my photos are of WZ744. Sorry for muddying the waters! :-(

To change the tack slightly, thank you for the Javelin shot - I havnt come across many in its single seat guise -- and most of them were taken at Moreton Valance

cheers
