Hehehehe in some interesting paints as well -- Im waiting for DaveM to send me his copy of the PNs so I can load it
into FSA -- Seeing as you guys have started flying in Kiwi land - there were two that flew for Airwork NZ down there
in the South Island. Plus Pickfords one which flew from GUE to Soton and Lydd with Flowers -- There is even some
evidence that Silver City flew one for a while and maintained a second at Blackbushe. Supposedly THY flew at least one
but We cannot find anything about the routes - DaveM seems to have hit a vein of information on the little bugger
and the Keeper of things Miles (PeterM) has provided him with ALOT of photos inluding a great cockpit shot that the VC
is based on - It was a pretty basic aircraft using alot of things Miles had laying around - (The wing was a scaled up
Gemini wing - the tail a scaled up Messenger tail - the cockpit used many bits and pieces from the parts bin) The biggest
problem I know Dave is having is tracking down colour shots -- He has one colour shot of the East Anglian Air Service (nee
Channel) paints apparently that aircraft actually lived on into Channel days) and the wings were still in existance at Southend
in the mid 60s. So if anyone has access to colour photos or personal knowledge of colour schemes -- could you PM me and I
will pass the along to DaveM -- Its in very early Alpha at present - Brian Horsey will work his magic with the FDE as usual
and we have a good sound package for the Cirus's (Ciruii??) laying around. I can say it will come with both a cargo and
passenger interior - I dont think Dave wants to modify it but at least one (G-AJKP) operated by Meridian Air Mapping
had a lower canopy modification so the perspex went all the way past the floor line on the co-pilots side something like
the Optica for aerial photography.
