Quite a sight! Thanks for sharing. I'm ashamed to admit that I never knew the RAF operated B-29s until fairly recently.

There wern't for long and they don't get mentioned often in general histories

On a similar vein a lot of folk don't realise the RAF operated Neptunes.

Those Venoms were 266 Squadron and the chaps were under canvas...They were totally infested with earwigs and got a special "Earwig" tie afterwards :lol:

I wasn't there as I was flying in Holland on Exercise "Coronet".
