I remember Dave B and myself doing the same with a C-17 into Brize Norton and being almost flattened by the downdraght.
Might have actually been a VC-10 as we had that view of both but seem to rember the RAF C-17 being the scaryies for the sheer ower of the disturbed air

These were taken on the thursday, at the arrival of the Vulcan,
i was gutted the vulcan was blurred, but the joy on the old ladies face was amazing, and with the crown cheering and clapping, it really was lump in the throat type moment!!

It'd be quite difficult getting everything in focus, with the two subjects being so far away from each other, unless you wanted the people to be out of focus with the Vulcan pin sharp, that is...fmansam wrote:i was gutted the vulcan was blurred
