Whatever Happened To........?

Post by Nigel H-J »

At some point when reading posts it suddenly occurs to me that someone here appears to have disappeared completely from the Forum after usually posting regularly, by that I mean within a certain time scale and not every day. Am I the only sad sod around here that ever thinks this way or are there some that you have also noticed? I appreciate the fact that people move on from time to time but I suppose I am just being curious.

Two for example Briwith and Tom Everitt of Coventry Airport Fame!!

Even the absence of Tonks is beginning to show!!

I suppose we could start a new Thread.....Whatever happened to...?

Hi Nigel,

I guess the bottom line is that folks get busy with work and family...

..even Garry's been known to not show himself for a hour or two

Hi Nigel..

That looks like Briwith and Tom Everitt of Coventry Airport fame when perhaps it should have been Tom Everitt of Coventry Airport fame and Briwith (who has absolutely nothing to do with Coventry Airport)

Brian Withers still pop's in here from time to time though is not as active as he was. There was a death in the family which necessitated Brian reallocating his time. We email to keep in touch and both Brian and his good wife are both fine as far as I know ;-)

Tom..
Not sure what's happened to him tbh. He was Operations officer for the Air Atlantique Classic Fleet and seemed to be doing a good job of turning round a big loss maker into something not so. However, I visited their website a couple of weeks ago and under the 'Who's Who' bit.. noted there was no sign of our Tom :o It may be that he's shy or that he's moved on to other things.

I thought this was going to be a thread about airliners landing back in the 80s and 90s and the passengers used to clap. What ever happened to that?

Tom..in Central and South America passengers always clap and cross themselves on safe arrival..been there, done that..

...this thread is about folks who haven't been on the forum for a while... ;-)

Just busy with minutes, monthly returns etc.

Last time I checked though, I am still in the land of the living.

:doho: I have a way of putting things that usually end up confusing people Dave.

Many thanks for the updates though.

I am absolutely sure Graham that if you missed just one day on this Forum you would be posted as missing!!
