Winston Churchill's C-54B Skymaster

Post by jensbk »

Even if the C-54 isn't 'classic british', I'm sure Winston S. Churchill is :)

I have uploaded a model of Churchills's personal C-54B to Flightsim and Avsim. You can see a glimpse of the conference room when you open the doors, and I have included a pdf-dodument describing the three important flights WSC made in this aircraft. As far as I know, the plane was returned to the USA soon after WSC lost lost the elections in 1945.

Best regards

Hi Derek,

>I've moved this to CNB

Ahem - I wrote

>Even if the C-54 isn't 'classic british', I'm sure Winston S. Churchill is

so I'm happy to see you haven't removed the thread here :)

Yes Jens, a tricky one for a moderator...I decided that the aircraft was the subject and acted accordingly

And anyway, I haven't moved any posts for a while and was getting twitchy

ATB,

Derek ;-)
