Did the RAF buy any C-17's?
I thought the ones they had as on a complex lease that limited use and meant they had to eventually hand them back in tip top condition :think:
After of course spending more on this arrangement than if they had bought them outright .

They are buying the one's they had on lease, plus an additional aircraft. Presumably when they are bought outright, rather than leased, they will be able to drop that daft requirement to have the serial number on the nose!
