G-AVPB Round the World in 7 sectors...

Post by petermcleland »

I've been busy programming the flightplans of this B707 as I push her round the World's Northern Hemisphere in six days. Here is Monday, a short two sector day starting at Heathrow and calling at Frankfurt before nightstopping at Tempelhof, Berlin:-

She is parked at Cargo but I'm sure that all this Military Might, should really be over on the other side of the airfield.
Certainly correct about that Peter.

Google Earth shows Rhein/Main AFB with 12 C-17 parked on the military side at EDDF and 1 taxying, 2 x C-5, 2 x World MD-11

Peter - I've just viewed the full sequence and I'm over-awed  Papa Bravo in the hands of the master  She looks absolutely wonderful in your scenery settings and doing what a freighter ought to do - work hard!

You've obviously got the hang of the Boeing landing and I imagine you really had to smack her down at Tempelhof. What an adventure - I wish I could go with you

Thanks very much for the pics

Ian

Cor! Slapping a bit of paint on was the easy bit! Nagging him to do it was the hard bit!

Nah.... nothing clever there, honest... I rate myself as average at best ona good day... I just enjoy it thats enough for me... I much prefer to be in the "background" rather than put myself up to be shot at...

Whoops! I see that I didn't make it clear...This is a Traffic AI version that we are looking at and the FlightPlans I'm talking about are in Ttools

I did none of the flying, but I did juggle the files to make the AI version very reliable and converted all the 32 bit textures to help the frame rates. All shots are with the Traffic slider at 100%. When I've finished testing this AI package, I'll probably use the relevant bits of the files for my Trident package which is proving a bit unreliable.
