Gloster Gladiator for FSX by FS Addon Publishing

Post by Flying_Junk »

Classic AND British - this has been out for 10 days or so from FSAddon Publishing http://silvercloud-store.com/. It's also available from the Aerosoft shop. Even if you have the Icarus Gladiator (and I do) this might tempt you if you have £16 to spare. She comes with seven texture sets but this is my favourite, quite a contrast with Icarus' battered old warhorse.

Nice looking model FJ.. thanks for the H/U ;)

EDIT..
Had a look on the FSAddon site at this little tinker.. at the screenies in particular and found a number of things I'm not fond of but I guess it all depends on how badly you want an FSX native Glad :)
Not all the gauges look like they 'belong' and I'd be looking for some uniformity. The RPM gauge is the most out of place but it's not the only one. Likewise, you just don't see engines or engine bays that lit.. even with bright sunlight doing it's best. This isn't the only native model I've seen show this trait but a lot don't.
Still.. if you really want one, 19Eur (inc taxes) isn't such a bad price for any model these days let alone a native FSX version ;)

I see what you mean about the gauges in the VC Dave. There's something not quite right with them... A little too hand drawn to my eye. I'm certainly interested in it though.
