Apparently they were landing with up to 40 knots crosswind, not something that will happen regularly when in service. Always interesting to see these certification flights though!

Just a small addition to the fuel dumping issue: an aircraft has to have a fuel dumping system installed if it can not conform to the climb requirements in CS-25.119 and CS-25.121(d) after 15 minutes of flying from a MTOW...
