I remember having a long conversation with our Airbus rep about life cycles of the A32O once upon a time, the official view was the airframe would be redundant in fifteen years, sounds about right to me.

The way I see it , my mother is 92 - she was a mere slip of a girl in 1939, so now they are also slipping away, our heroes are leaving us. and there seem to be few replacing them.

I heard that as well Brian, but lord I did love my boat, spent most of the year (from April to October in Georgia) on the lake skiing, amazing did not matter what day it was or what time, I could always find two other people who could a/. ski and b/. drive a boat......and yes the upkeep was expensiv...
