I shall investigate the book. Now that I have the Trident working I intend to set about installing the VC10.

Re: Trident Fuel Gauges
Dave
Its quite likely that I misquoted what Cap. Treadaway said, It may well have been that he referred to an experimental flight in the lead up to the commercial operation of Autoland. I certainly would not want to dispute your info. Next time I see Cap. Treadaway I will discreetly question him ...

The FSX folders for the Trident panels are :-
'\SimObjects\Airplanes\DMFS Shared Files\HS121 Trident Panel'

Re: Trident Fuel Gauges
The retired pilot is Captain R A Treadaway.
I have re-installed from the correct DM files. The problem with the fuel gauges is now corrected, no problem there and the aircraft flies OK. I now have a problem with the sound even though I have replaced the files in the panel folders with the FSX ones ...

I had some problems with the VC10 too but that's another story. I will try to get my Trident working ...

Re: Trident Fuel Gauges
Hello Ben
No, I downloaded from one of the other flightsim sites, can't remember which one now. So I tried starting FSX with the default hang glider and then selecting the Trident. Afraid with the same results, Fuel Gauges on zero. I think that the best thing I can do is re-download from the DM ...

Thank's chaps for the interest.
I should have said that the Fuel Burn gauges are fine and as far as I can tell everything else looks A ok. Although I still have not got the Autoland to work yet, but I think that is "me related"
Not sure what you mean about the post looking different!
Bob

I have just installed the Trident (David Maltby) in FSX SP2, Vista SP2. It flies very nicely but the Fuel Gauges read 0 even when tanks are full. There are references to this problem in the forum and some changes to the fuel gauges XML files are required to correct the fault. Can someone tell me ...
