I think I understand what you posted, but failed at the first hurdle of trying to create the sound gauge. I only have FS Panel Studio and after 4 hours of trying had to give up!

I have put the sound file in the panel folder, as well as every other file imaginable, I also have DMs shared folders for use with his VC10 and 1-11 so if it is linked back to that it should find what it is looking for.

I have had a brief look at the XML for DMs ...

A question (which I hope doesn't upset DM).

I have introduced the 1-11s Altitude Alert into one of my own panels, but can't get it to make the alert sound that goes with it.

What do I need to do to get it to make the sound. I have copied the wave file into the panel folder, and the dsd_xml_sound3 ...

I have found a fix though. If you go into FS9.cfg file you can change the "See own aircraft" to 0. This way, when in the 2D panel you can asign the bmp views without having the VC in the background.

Most aircraft have NoVC options nowadays ...

Could anyone tell me how to get the autopilot to follow the GPS :redface:

I select the green GPS on the bottom of the radio panel and then switch the Autopilot to VOR/LOC, but it does not follow the GPS signal.

It is probably bleedin obvious and I apologise in advance for wasting your time :roll ...

I spent a whole day trying to disable the VC, so that I could fly the updated 111 with the updated Panel without VC.
