Re: MSFS 2020 First Impressions
I'm going to add my four penny worth here. Overall I'm pretty impressed. For all the niggles (some of which will get cured and some of course won't) flying in the sim is a treat and that's what it's about in the end ... Liked The scenery of course - I can't get over the fact that you get the whole w...

Re: Disgraceful, Misleading Branding
Yepp, I've tried Flight Gear too and it's great that there is an open source alternative in the FlightSim world. I'm guessing the team there would be as annoyed as anyone...

Disgraceful, Misleading Branding
I know that no-one here would be fooled by this but I think this piece of product branding at Amazon is a disgrace.... "Flight Simulator 2020 X DELUXE Edition Flight Sim FlightGear 6 Disc DVD CD Set For Microsoft Windows 10 8 7 Vista PC & Mac OS X - 600+ Aircraft & FULL Worldwide Scener...

Re: Ant's Tiger Moth :
Another nice repaint over at SimOuthouse. Now you can fly the Tiger modeled by Airfix! G-MOTH/K2567 : I remember this was one of the first Airfix kits I made, Two shillings it was; 10p now but a whole week's pocket money then! Ugly Little Blighter...
For those wanting to recreate the days of experimental British jets. There's a Boulton Paul P111 over at Sim Outhouse. Flies about as steady as a penny farthing in a violent cross wind (but allegedly that's right....) http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php/118087-Boulton-Paul-P-111A-zip

Re: FSAddOn Bristol Freighter
The Anson is OK although it has some quirky faults on the panel that never got fixed, sadly. I agree with you about FS2020 paralysis though. I can imagine that's ki-boshed a number of developers' expectations.

FSAddOn Bristol Freighter
Gonna keep an eye on this one. I'm not a big fan of FSAddon but I do like the original short nose freighter....

Yes, I asked Ant about that in an email but he says he has no plans to do them, sadly.

Re: Ant's Tiger Moth
Yes, nothing dramatic but Ant has added "push spots" on the wings so you can park your Tiger tidily. (Must admit that they don't work desperately well in my view, but that may be my mouseing technique.....)
