Re: Fairey Gannet

Hi all, The running on at start prob might be something to do with prop pitch, I did sod about with this setting just before I uploaded! Something like "prop beta on ground", I was trying to get the props to stop more quickly when one engine is shut down.Sorry. No speed brake on Gannet, ke...

Re: Father Christmas left a couple of late Xmas presents

I am sorry if there has been a problem with the Gannet, I am still learning the trade and I was not aware of rar's shortcomings, I like it and have never had any difficulty using it, I'm on win7 and have just downloaded the Gannet with no probs, but I see the corrupt file that Rick speaks of, pilot_...

Re: Fairey Gannet

Hi Steve,
Spent all my time there looking over the Gannet, once in that cockpit I lost all track of time, in fact I was on my third or fourth approach to the "Ark" when I got the nod that it was chucking out time, they seemed to see the funny side of the situation though!

Re: Fairey Gannet

I have to-day visited the Midland Air Museum and all the good things people have said about the place are absolutely true, I rang them last week and explained what I was up to and that I was after some cockpit pictures of the Gannet, nothing was to much trouble for them, they set up access to the pi...

Re: throttle lever anim

Hi Rich,Thanks for the input,
The reverse thrust is not the problem, it is the fact that I cannot move the visual levers independantly, It's really starting to hack me off!

Re: throttle lever anim

I'm not on auto pilot Rich, the problem is a bit deeper than that, It must be possible to move them independanly as in the KingAir but not in my case at the moment, someone will know I'm sure!

Re: throttle lever anim

Thanks Skippy,
I have just been looking through modeldef but all seems OK, I don't think I have the wrong tag as I also have the same problem with the condition levers, I wonder if It could be the airfile or the config. I bet it's something silly!
