Re: Boost Gauge Readings
;-) It took a while to find any planes with that record in the air file - it seems to be a FS98/CFS thing, so they are probably port-overs. I will be trying the 'good' one later today.

Re: Boost Gauge Readings
The patient is making progress...the gauge is an xml one, from the default DH88. I had not bothered with that plane until yesterday, but I fired it up, and surprise, surprise that gauge goes backwards too! Since then I have found several variants of the same gauge. Only one of them moves around the ...

Re: Miles Aerovan update
Quite a while back, for my own amusement, I added some lines to Sam Cooper's Touchdown AI flightplans for Highland Airways, to include the new Oban-Colonsay-Coll service. Yesterday I emailed Sam offering him the modified version, and asking if, as an alternative, I could have permission to upload th...

Re: Boost Gauge Readings
My sentiments exactly, Nigel -
If I hadn't volunteered so much of my time for being nice to tourists, I could spend it on much less stressful things like this :-(
All the Best

Re: Boost Gauge Readings
Cheers Nigel - I haven't fixed anything yet, :$ but I am sure you are right. Trouble is, the various tools I have tried so far (AirEd, FS Edit) do not show me that parameter (Boost Pressure) being used for this particular plane. I installed the Gauges SDK last night but I haven't had a play with it ...

Re: Aircraft endurance, range, radius of action etc.
Hi Hobby - This article at CalClassic greatly increased my understanding of those terms, and why quoting one without relating it to the others is meaningless. Each one is the result of complex interaction with the others. http://calclassic.proboards55.com/index.cgi?board=fsaviator&action=display...

Re: Boost Gauge Readings
Cheers, Dave - Down here in Oz it is actually Sunday today.... Garry - I posted last night, and when I looked this morning there were nine replies, the last being from nigelb, which provided the solution. That's why I didn't answer your question about which plane. I mainly needed confirmation ...
