Re: Hunter T7 XL609
Thanks both,
It's quite a time consuming project but it'll be worth it long term, I hope to find a home where it can be made available to the public to 'fly'
I don't post all the updates here so if you're interested keep tabs on the website http://xl609.com
or find us on facebook if you use it ...

Re: Hunter T7 XL609
We have a working Airspeed indicator! Please excuse the terrible 'flying' in the demo - I can't fly a hunter with those tiny control sticks but this was the easiest way to show things working.

Re: Hunter T7 XL609
Ahoy!
Progress on XL609 continues, this weekend I'll be at South Yorkshire Air Museum for their big cockpit event with some demo hardware (the cockpit itself isn't mobile yet)

Re: Hunter T7 XL609
This weekend I got the first panel up and running, it'll be a while before I can install it but it feels like progress.

Re: Hunter T7 XL609
Hi Pete,
Yes, indeed, she was with 12 Sqn and 237 OCU among others I'm 99% sure she was converted to T7A in the mid 60s with the IFIS panel.
History and pics are up on the website. http://XL609.com
Cheers

Re: Hunter T7 XL609
Yep, it's a good starting point as in I don't have a ton of stuff to strip out, but on the other hand...I don't have a ton of stuff to install yet either!
