Here's what our research (which may be wrong!) boils down to: Canada - cheaper housing, but balanced by lower wages. A bit cold in parts. Probably good for ski-ing. Australia - cheaper housing, good standard of living. Perhaps a bit hot for me, but Mrs. Simtrac loves the heat. Also, as I see it, onc...

Toby, I raise my hand and say that I voted for the man 1997. Never again. I am absolutely fuming with what they are doing with my country. He is a power crazed charlatan who seems hell bent on getting his name in the history books no matter what - and by making what is now being hailed as the bigges...

I can only imagine they were. I missed it myself - only found out through my membership newletter (I'm fairly ashamed to say!) and its a while since I visited. Although me and the boy will be popping down Friday to see what's going on. I suspect by now she's been rolled undercover for the real work ...

Sea Prince to fly again ...

Thought folks here may be interested to know the Sea Prince T1 WP321 displayed in the open at Bournemouth Aviation Museum has had her engines started up (after having been cleared of six years worth of birds nests and whatnot). She could be set to be displayed (in the air!) at the 2007 Culdrose show...

Sorry to butt in chaps, but this seemed as good a place as any ... I took the plunge and got FSX today. I agree with Rick. I have just been having a ball with the PD Spit in FSX. The water, the vastly improved visibility rendering, the general feel of the sim combined with an aircraft of this class ...

It's a while since I flew the 707 (I haven't got it installed at the moment either), but I remember with the first version released, it porpoised very badly at altitude and there was no way the old girl could stay on an ILS - and yes - it did actually make me queasy! Then CS released a replacement g...
