He has. I know from my own professional experience as a Graphic Designer, if you do this you'll get criticism because you are unintentionally telling your 'customers' what to think. Luckily, it works the other way!

Here we go - ahem - I once painted a PMDG 737-800 in late BOAC colours, however where it would have had the BOAC gold logo, I made a new one up in a similar font, saying CLASSIC.

I binned it as it looked ridiculous.

Right.

I'll get me coat then.

Since I got into simming, for the life of me I have never ever understood the flak freeware developers get, and to be honest, I cannot understand how SERIOUSLY some people on other forums take it all. What else do they DO in their lives I wonder? If I download some freeware that for whatever reason ...

http://www.simonpriestley.co.uk/EE139.jpg Best one I've got I'm afraid, but it shows a little bit more detail on the lettering. Looks to me like they were hand painted in a stylised 'ghoulish' font. Note the mustard yellow gas detection patch, which had a dull red circle border around it and appear...

I'm copying selected bits (the ones I think I will need - ie autopilot settings etc) from the dreamfleet one over the captainsim one. I remember when I did a similar thing with the dreamfleet 737 into FS9 - the lights either buried themselves in the wings or floated alongside. All was well with that...

Looks like I got away with it then as the lights are all ok and the wheels are all sitting nicely in spot view. In flight I also noticed the smoke effect was ok as well

Now to see if I can get it to use the Dreamfleet autopilot ...

Question - swapping .air files

This one's probably been covered somewhere, but I can't find it. Anyway - I own both the Dreamfleet 727 and the Captain Sim 727. I like the look and feel (visually) of Captain Sim, but not how it flies (climbing out at 4000 fpm with overspeed warnings etc). Dreamfleet - I love the way it flies, but ...

it's amazing how it macs seem to run FS so well I run both FS9 and FSX on my 24" iMac and it does both without any trouble whatsoever - especially FS9 which I run at 1900 x 1200 with 4x antialiasing, all sliders to the right. No fan noise whatsoever and as cool as you like - literally and othe...
