Hi Ben, and thanks for the explanations. I think having a look at the SDK is a sterling idea. I was reluctant to switch to FSX, but as I said in my OP, it gives more options with the sound for AI traffic, which, in my case, is desirable, not to mention other addons I'm testing that are tooled only ...

Just a couple of quikkies re the effect files on Daves 1-11's (and others)
I do realise that these aircraft are meant to be flown! but as I am a perfectionist, my AI aircraft have to look good as well, which they do :flying:
So on to my questions, if I may.

Thanks, a couple of those photos tell me how it was, looks like hangers etc. I notice that one of those pics with BY73 in the foreground must have been after 1972/3 as BY had newer colours and it must have been "divvy" day 3 ...

Yes, the "Nandi" referred to is infact NFFN Nadi. Incidently, when migrating to Oz in Nov '71 we flew VH-EAE 707 (City of Brisbane) London-Bermuda-Nassau-Mexico-Accapulco-Tahiti-Fiji-Sydney-Melb-Perth..that was a real milk run, lol

I voted yes, as currently I am using detailed flight models for 80% of my 1970/73 flightsim world in FS2002, which is my dedicated retro sim. Naturally, this looks superb, but get more than 5 aircraft in the shot at once (even ones in the distance) and frame rates get down to the 10fps mark.
