Re: Effect Files

Hi Ben, and thanks for the explanations. I think having a look at the SDK is a sterling idea. Effect Files

Just a couple of quikkies re the effect files on Daves 1-11's (and others) I do realise that these aircraft are meant to be flown! but as I am a perfectionist, my AI aircraft have to look good as well, which they do :flying: So on to my questions, if I may. [SMOKESYSTEM] Smoke.0=3.05, -30.10, -7.08,...

Yes, great memory! I was there standing on the B pier along with thousands of other "Gobsmacked" onlookers, when the first BOAC 747 landed at Manchester. Its a sight I never forget!

I am doing EGCC circa 1970, but am struggling to get any pictures of it in those days. I should know the airfield inside out as a young spotter, lol, but I am jiggered if I can remember what the other side of the B-Line pier looked like. (To the immediate left of it, as you looked out from the main ...

I voted yes, as currently I am using detailed flight models for 80% of my 1970/73 flightsim world in FS2002, which is my dedicated retro sim. Naturally, this looks superb, but get more than 5 aircraft in the shot at once (even ones in the distance) and frame rates get down to the 10fps mark. I also ...
