Re: Insanely long range flights

I've seen these figures too and to be honest.. they're pie in the sky.. unless of course you take a fleet of tankers with you Consider that a Super could do the LHR-JFK route without a great deal of gas spare and the standards couldn't without a reduced payload.. you're talking, what.. 7.5hrs fligh...

Sorry I don't recall a Dave Campbell, and he doesn't appear in my log book, I was only with Monarch from Jan 1980 to Nov 1981. I'll see if he appears in my father's log books, although he wa...

Re: VS in comet

of course - the 720 was in the same position as the Dan Air Comets - basically a transcontiental (US that is) aircraft operating 2-3 hour legs for the Bucketandspaders out of Luton (I think the longest legs they operated were to Teneriffe, Malta and Heraklion) Negative Lief. Sorry to bother you again Garry.

I was wondering if I could get your permission to use your Hunting-Clan textures and to modify them to fit the CalClassic DC-6.

I've never done any repaints before, but I'd like to have a go.

If you say no I'll understand.
Best regards

Garry
Very sorry I didn't realise the distinction between pay and freeware here,
sorry if I caused any offence.
I thought, well the MAAM C-47 is payware but the repaints are free.

Anyway thanks for putting me straight.
Best regards

Hi Garry I've recently downloaded all your Viking repaints, stunning work. I was particularly taken by your Hunting-Clan versions, for sentimental reason, and was wondering if theres any chance you would consider doing one of the Hunting-Clan DC-6's, G-APNO or G-APNP. These were the last two DC-6's ...
