Re: KaiTak

I promised Ian some shots of the freeware Kai Tak Thank you, Dan, very kind of you to remember. You're still not off the hook, though, as I would like to see some close-ups of the approach to the checkerboard and the buildings beneath the final curve. Pretty please! BTW your video worked fine on my...

And I think you might be a little more than a wee better than me, as I never actually flown an aircraft myself....and I wasn't fortune enough to try to land in Kai Tak as a passenger either... but that doesn't calm down my fascination of this magnificent airport and its special approach. Dan, I've ...

Dan - pleased to hear that they haven't forgotten the checkerboard! And airboatr - thanks for the compliment, but the more eagle-eyed out there will see that I was really stationary. Just posing for the picture. I'm not that good, but perhaps a wee bit better than Dan! In case anybody hasn't g...

You buggers have dragged me out good and proper, now. I've reloaded FS but am under severely restricted flying duties (but including Golf Mike and HKG). The scenery looks very detailed, Dan, but isn't quite realistic enough for me. According to my famous log book, I've flown into Kai Tak 55 times (5...

Hello Moses03. I'd like to add my welcome to you. I'd also like to express concern over your avatar. I'm hoping that the photographer has one leg shorter than the other. If not, then I really hope that the pilot executed a missed approach

Hope you enjoy the forum

is it really hard to click a button when there is only 2 choices ? Actually, Rick, that should read ....when there is only 1 choice.... If there were two choices there would be three buttons to click. I only mention it because Tonks may be along soon and pick up on it http://www.roymiddleton.btinte...
