Right, can some people help me with the following:
1. How do I start a charity?
2. How much would the Teeside Trident cost?
3. Are there any willing volunteers?
Aargh!!! I need money to save the last one and I need it now!!!

Heh. You'll need a lot of cash. But here're some pages to help:
Registering a charity:

If you think you'll be in for a chance:
http://www.lotteryfunding.org.uk/
You mean they set that poor aircraft on fire? :huf:
How will you save it?

Doh!
Vixus, I thought you'd know by now that you're supposed to be the brains of the operation.
I'm just the brawn, remember?
No, seriously,
I doubt I'd be able to do much, but they rebuild Spits and Mustangs for rich buisinessmen from wrecks that have been under the seas for ages.
I'm sure fire won't be quite as bad... yeah right.

From personal experience, moving a Trident (dismantle, transport, reassembly) is going to be in the region of £100,000. You need a place for it to go to and that one needs lots of work! I'm not even sure theres enough spare bits around to restore that one and its still used (and according to the boss of the fire school, will likely continue to be until long after he has retired!). Its fairly grotty inside and missing a lot of bits.
