Trying to tidy up the CBFS VA database and new FSA client

Post by TSR2 »

First of, thats to the FSA team for the new client. It seems to work really well with my FS2020 without needing FSUIPC :welldone: (I noticed this weeks ago, but forgot to mention it,

I've been looking at the database that CBFS VA uses to store some of the values it pulls from FSA and have tried to do a bit of housekeeping. I hadn't realised before, but when certain fields are updated in FSA, it creates duplicate records in CBFS VA. I've removed these duplicates (I took a backup of the DB first) so that should make things a bit better. I'm hoping to learn how to fix some of the SQL queries that Dave Maltby wrote back in the day, as soon they will no longer be supported in the newer versions of MariaDB (the database we use at CBFS).
