An empty SAS AS365 can mean only two things. Someone has just been dealt a good deal of grief or someone is about to get some

Yup. This might look like a 'what if' but the SAS do use the AS365 :cpu:

I shall look out for that next time I'm down in London. Over the last few months, I've seen a Chinook, Lynx and Apache over central London, so I wont be surprised to see he Who Dares Wins passing overhead - especially if I'm in Peckham. ;)

Dave,

the sad events last night on London Bridge reminded me of this image.
I believe they may have overflown the house yesterday as they scrambled to the event.
I live near Blackbush and around 10pm last night a chopper making lots of noise flew low over they house.
Unusual because we get no night traffic here. In fact it made me comment to the missus "bet they are scrambling the Police chopper to assist".
On refelection I bet it was the SAS.

You were right though. Three `someones` did get dealt the grief they deserved.

Ted.

Yes mate. It's likely the SAS get an immediate prod on any perceived (or real) attack so last nights activity could well have been that. Auntie Beeb is reporting the Police Armed Response Team had 3 'someones' bagged within 8mins of receiving the call so I doubt any real SAS involvement on this occasion.

What made me wonder was a report of a blue helicopter landing on London Bridge.
But I guess Police Choppers are generally blue or dark blue to black.
