Just Flight anniversary sale
Just Flight is having an anniversary sale they call a 'Pic and Mix' you buy 2/3/4/5 items you pay one price for the group
I was interested that for each of the different currencies, adding one more item was always 10 more, so I pulled out my spreadsheet, asked google for the current exchange rates and did the math.
If you buy two or three it cheaper to pay in pounds.
If you buy four or five, its cheaper to pay in dollars.
Sale ends monday

Re: Just Flight anniversary sale
Of course even at the max quantity, you're still spending 12 quid per package so its not as great a deal as it could be. I see there weekend deal is there Tornado for 15 and you only have to buy 1.
I should not have been so hasty.

I guess it's not so bad if you've been umming and arring over a couple. The list price (full RRP) of £39.99 for the Spitfire is a bit of a joke so £15 might seem a good deal. Truth is.. £15 is closer to the real value of the Spit and some might argue even that is too expensive

Re: Just Flight anniversary sale
BTW.. the Spitfire isn't just the Spitfire as I first thought.. it's the Spit and Me109. A slightly less bitter pill to swallow
Hurry as the sale ends tomorrow

Within the last year I got both the First Class Simulation Hawker Heroes and the A2A Bf 109, I would have very reluctant to get those if I had known this was going on sale.

Re: Just Flight anniversary sale
Ah.. I didn't notice that. £15 for those three isn't a bad deal.. picking the 'other' one to make up the £30 would be a problem. I have most of them.. some are FS9 versions granted. I don't really want the Hawk as the Skysim model does me just fine. Same goes for the 1-11 (DM's is ok for me). The 747 and DC-10 are (I believe) CLS models.. both of which I have for FS9 and I don't fly tubes in FSX. I can do without the 748 and Fokker Friendship. The TB-10 doesn't float my boat at all. The rest I have
I wouldn't, at this point, get the BOB 70th set as I already have the Hurricane. Me109's I have in both Flight Replicas and WWII Fighters flavours and the Spit in both RealAir and WOP3. Disappointing when a big sale comes up like this and there's nothing you want

Re: Just Flight anniversary sale
I ask myself two questions whenever a sale comes along. Do I want it? If the answer's yes, I then ask, do I need it? The answer is usually no, so I don't buy it. Counting repaints, I've got nearly 500 aircraft. Most of them are in a folder called Mothballed, and never feel the wind beneath their wings. So why the heck am I keeping them?
This applies to anything. I tend to buy on impulse, so I've got shirts that haven't been unwrapped, trousers with labels still attached, shoes still in boxes. However, I've got lots of empty bottles.
