Joe,

That is in the ORBX FTX North America range of airports...You will never guess what that white dome like building in the middle of the apron is!...You can see it in the first picture...I hadn't a clue so I looked it up :agree:

I'll guess it's the mound of snow made by the plows and front end loaders.
:dunno:

Yes it is Joe...And it grows as the year goes on in the Sim...Then in real life, in the spring, They break it all up and cart it off in trucks (perhaps they dump it in the sea). In the Sim the pile just vanishes :agree:

Ha .. growing up in northern Indiana paid off after all. 8)
My deduction was based on your "white dome like building" clue.
I didn't see any windows or doors..
Then I thought it might be a misplaced hill top or something.. it certainly looks more like snow I thought..
Being it's a customized airport I thought it reasonable to guess they added a pile of snow Image

So then... What prize did I win then.. the red arrows watch? :excited:

Well done Joe!...Well when we finally get to meet in P3Dv3...We can try some close line astern loops over the relics of McLeland Field :agree: I might even try to rig the Grandstand full of spectators for the event...The Ring of Fire might be too much

Edit...I've been wearing the Red Arrows watch for almost three years now...I always watch it when I hear the six pips and the second hand always hits the centre of the minute hand, over the twelve, exactly on the sixth pip. When I go to bed, I place it on a specially drawn line on a box on the east facing window of my "Flight Deck" the line points to Frankfurt and the watch listens, receives and acts on the signal from Frankfurt at 0200 hours each morning. As DST is added or subtracted It is automatically set for any city in Europe. I have to manually set or unset the cities in the far east or America...Unless I happen to pass through there (it will then receive and act on the signal from the American or Japanese stations). The watch has 44 cities and 7 of them have Southern Hemisphere DST, 17 of them have Northern Hemisphere DST and 20 of them don't use DST.
