It's how it is in the museum, and who are we to argue ? ;)
Rule#1.. NEVER take as fact what you see in a museum

OK.. I'll paint it up as it is now ;)

Great, thanks very much for your efforts Dave B. I shall try it out this weekend. We couldn't have not had that repaint, could we ?

DG, that is gorgeous - the cloud shadows, the sunlight on the white of the fuselage - as near perfect a screenshot as I've ever seen.

It IS a good screenie isn't it. Makes my feeble paint look much better than it really is

Hopefully.. Eric would approve

Feeble ?? Most certainly not! There's a very nice collection of repaints building up for Rob's Sea Hawk now, but it wouldn't have been complete without Captain Brown's machine.

A WIP I've been working on for almost 24hrs 8)

Image

Seahawk F.1 WF174:171-J of 806 'Ace of Diamonds' Squadron, RNAS Ford, October '53.

I've nearly given up on this twice. Never, in the field of human painting, has so much effort been put into something that looks so simple!

Rob.. I see why you didn't go for this one!
