Re: Sea Hawk
They were added for exercise identification purposes. Bet it took them less time to paint the real thing than it did me to paint the model
I think it's ready to go now. Just ONE anomaly to clear up. The side profile in Warpaint #29 shows the lower intake wing LE's painted sky. The lower profile shows them painted grey I've left 'em grey as I don't have a decent shot to show what they should be

Old sailors never die.. they just smell that way!
Re: Sea Hawk
Indeed, it is very smart. Looking forward to it.
Meanwhile, not far from Lossie:
Thanks again for this one, Dave.
Eric Brown concludes his chapter on the Sea Hawk thus - It will be obvious that I have a very high regard for the Sea Hawk in all its forms, but that is from the handling viewpoint rather than the performance one. Between my test flying spell on the Sea Hawk and my operational time with it, I had flown the North American F-86 Sabre, which set the standard I still regard as superb. This was, therefore, the inevitable basis for my comparison of the Sea Hawk. It says much for the Hawker product that it came out of this analysis with flying colours, although matched against a contemporary fighter of the highest calibre
Considering he thought the F-86E the best jet fighter he ever flew, this is praise indeed for the Sea Hawk, I reckon.

Re: Sea Hawk
Okey dokey. As period shots of the type differ and colour profiles differ, without an actual shot of the real airframe.. the aforementioned areas cannot be confirmed so I'm letting it go 'as is'.

Re: Sea Hawk
I mentioned recently that some screen shots need a good look to tell them from a real photo.
As posted above; You've done it there, Paul, nice work!

Gents, thank you for the compliments on that screenshot. As Dave G said with his screenie, P3D provides wonderful lighting. Couple that with a precise model and crisp repaint, and you just can't go wrong when you press the Print Screen key.
Peter Watkin's WV834 is the next one to install. It's got Dayglow, and I'm a sucker for Dayglow.
