A Launch Program for Prepar3d?????

Just out at Avsim. A new proper launch program for P3D. I don't have time to try it out as I've got an early start tomorrow. It looks like a fully featured program with everything we want!

Or go to the library and check the new files for SimLauncher v1.0 by Maarten Boelens

Or search for Download ID 172372

Hopefully I'll have time to try it tomorrow evening or Wednesday.

Ian :)

Very interesting indeed, Ian. From the screenshots, it looks just what we need. Downloaded it but I wont get to play with it before the weekend.

Oh. Real World Pressure getting intense again, Paul? Funny how that happens every time there's a new thing to try out

Never mind, I expect Pathfinderman will soar to the rescue again, despite being on a very early shift pattern this week

I'll let you know

Downloaded it but it needs another exe from Peter Dawson's site. Cannot get it to run though as I am missing a dll for visual basic. Will keep you informed.

I'm getting the same error message, Nev. Missing MSVCR110.dll which is part of visual basic, as you say. I haven't the foggiest what that is and, unless it's part of Windows, I haven't got it!

I'm guessing the developer had it working well on his PC, which has the relevant dll file, but hasn't checked it on a machine that doesn't have it installed. I'll keep an eye out and see if he comes up with a fix.

Had me excited there for a bit

Not just me then Ian. Pity, it looks promising. Will continue to trawl the net. :OB:

I've just checked on the Avsim forum and everybody's got the same problem

The developer has come along with apologies and says he'll upload a new one tonight with the necessary file in it.

It's fixed now. It's no longer dependant on that pesky dll. First reports are that 'it's what all prepar3d users are looking for' so, just maybe, it works :worried: .

I'll try it out this evening and report back.

Downloaded it and it works, however I need to test it fully to make a comment.

Not sure if the startup screen talks to P3D correctly if you wish to change aircraft or weather, etc.
