Hi Jetty,

Rgr that. Is it perhaps that the patch has f*@ked up the rest of Europe then as I have that patch installed and the UK is fine (except for the CI's)

"That Patch"

is for the channel islands.

follow the link to the forum i posted and see how to deactivate the bgl file Jetty is on about.

I didn't need to deactivate the bgl as the coastline patch fixed it for me and i have perfect coastlines all over Europe inc CI's

the patch is only if you have VFR terrain installed.
not for anything else.

Most people here don't use VFR textures & terrain but i do and also have it populated with Autogen and nightlights.

Regards
Rick

Well I'm beggered!! How many times have we flown out of Jersy Rick.. quite a few and the coastline was always fine. Could it really be that I've not been to Jersey since VFR Terrain came out?? Sh1te.. I can't remember what day it is

Anyway.. I already have the NOK patch installed but I'll read on (well.. sometime this year maybe) to see what has to be done

Ok Chaps problem resolved....
I have sorted it, what I had done was install some freeware scenery in the USA and then activated it in FSNAV ( easier than in the sim) anyway clumsy me somehow discontected the scenery path to Roads and Rivers of Europe, now the odd thing is I did de activate RR of Europe just in case but it must need something from it even with the scenery deactivated! Anyway sorted out the correct path for it and now I have a proper shape Guernsey.Ummm that makes me think perhaps I can write to the BBC news team also known as the SUN aka News of the World for television as they never let the truth get in the way of a good story  and let them know I have a cure for any future sea levels rising
