The SAAB FLB (Fat little blighter) didn't fool anyone.
Real name SAAB J-29F Tunnan, which translates as Barrel.

OK , it's a Mosquito; all you need do is identify the Mk. Easy one this week.

The book described it as a NF Mk XIII; I have yet to find details sufficient to visually tell it from a NF Mk XII, so any entries for either get a diamond badge. The wing aerials and thimble nose mark it as a XII or early XIII. Later XIIIs had the bulbous "universal" nose to accommodate the surprise, surprise, larger American, radar kit. Earlier NFs had the arrow head radar and kept the 4 guns in the nose.
PeteP, Brian (Bridon Bear), Keith (Dev One), DaveG got it straight off.

Mick (woody901) blazed away with all guns in his turret, and found the target for a silver badge.


Taking advantage of today's fine weather, rain coming very soon.
