Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings
Right.. the waters are very muddy
Are you saying that no training flights are showing for the A300-B2 because the FSA ICAO is A30B? I think that's what you're saying
As you've noted, we run 2 A300 types.. the B2 (x3) and the F4 (x2) and all use the FSA ICAO A30B. 2 x B2's live at Gatwick, 1 at Manchester and the 2 F4's live at either East Mids, Stansted or Edinburgh.
Can't recall us ever having a problem with the 300's before but as only me and Bob Jones have flown them.. it's hardly surprising If you want a TR on the 300 when you get back, I can open one up for you and fingers crossed, the 2 aircraft sitting at Gatwick should show as available at FSA for the flights listed in the training schedule. Of course, no 300 flight will show as available for you at FSA until you get a TR for them.

Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings
No problem Jim. The flights are 'live' at FSA and the aircraft are where they should be despite our software here saying there are no aircraft at Gatwick. No idea why our database is saying that

Hi Dave
4 flights complete on the 707. One not too good by using up all the fuel while taxing to the stand
Do you wish me to do it again or am I good to go
Cheers

Er Dave
I'm still a trainee forced to sit alongside Charlton Heston as his No2 in Skyjacked for eternity.
