Ahhh...forgot about the Stag........used to have problems with the manifold blowing gaskets because the machined finish was too smooth IIRC.

Difficult. I know the US are fixated on "model years", but I am not so au fait with the Stag to notice any developments. What can I say - it has wire wheels, which if original would make me think it was rather an earlier example. BL chocolate brown (can't remember the proper name) paint would suggest early/mid seventies. I think the Stag was produced from about 1970 to 1977 IIRC... I'm going to guess this is a '71 or '72 model? Probably totally wrong
