Ahhh...forgot about the Stag........used to have problems with the manifold blowing gaskets because the machined finish was too smooth IIRC.

Is that right, Paul?
Well, I was going to say: "I don't know", but it's too late for that now, I've missed my chance!

Abshalootleeey, Dear Paul!
Re: Guess The Make & Model of the Car This Engine Is In ...
Difficult. I know the US are fixated on "model years", but I am not so au fait with the Stag to notice any developments. What can I say - it has wire wheels, which if original would make me think it was rather an earlier example. BL chocolate brown (can't remember the proper name) paint would suggest early/mid seventies. I think the Stag was produced from about 1970 to 1977 IIRC... I'm going to guess this is a '71 or '72 model? Probably totally wrongairboatr wrote: Would you like to go for double or nothing and guess the year?

Joe, don't forget to almost give another gold star to Paul, as he almost said it, AND it's his Birthday, too!
Re: Guess The Make & Model of the Car This Engine Is In ...
Well, I'm afraid there was a bit of a snag with Paul's answer...
But.. Happy Birthday, Paul..
