Useful to see this thread!

I nearly bought the SkySim Hawk last weekend but was put off by having to wait for an installation key.

If it's all still going I'll put my order in tonight!

Cheers

I made a video a week or so ago, of flying one around Norfolk at tree-top level (literally) and through the windfarm out in the Wash.

I've been 'umm'ing and 'aah'ing about whether to upload it to my YT channel *-)

It does have the odd choppy moment, for FSX reasons, but it isn't too bad. Oh - I also had the hydraulics and oxygen warning lights on after take-off, so I studied the panels closely until I found the right controls and sorted those out. Yet in the video, they are both lit for the duration! :dunno:

Cue 'Outer Limits' music...

Adam/Bill..
Yes, I agree the Skysim site does look more than a little unloved doesn't it. Like you, I'd be very wary of throwing any money at it for fear it may fall into nothingness :-O But.. if Rick is still getting plenty of activation/re-activation email.. it would appear to still function. A damn shame as both the Sea Vixen and Hawk deserve a better shop window :|

Thanks Chris.

I'll have a try at buying it.

Rick/Dave - I'll let you know how I get on.

Hi Guys..

Tried a coupla times, but no go.
I guess that I'll hafta do without. Pity.

The warning 'This site cannot be trusted' tends to make me a little nervous,
so I declined.

Never mind. I cannot find any other seller for this aircraft.

I see it's available via Torrent ?
Those guys should be hit with a DOS 24/7. It makes me so mad to see them
so high in the search results nearly every time I'm searching for an item.

'This site cannot be trusted'

That's odd. When did that appear Bill? I got no warning when I visited the site the other day and I have Malwarebytes full and the MS antivirus running 24/7.

Was it the payment page where you got the warning?

A real pity if we can't purchase it.

Hi All

Skysim was sold to a new owner quite a while ago.
Nobody knows the Logins for the site where the files are kept and Gordon is no longer contactable.

That's why it looks dead.

It will purchase fine and I have no idea what the errors are that people are seeing but guess it's because the Site is now using very old code.
I cannot get on the Skysim Forum as I was blocked from Access somehow when company was sold.

All Hawk Support mail (Not activations) are passed onto me so there should be no major problems at all.

Regards
Rick
