Re: Prepar3d: settings and news
Another day - another update
V2.4 available today - for a limited time only!
I'm not complaining - they are all genuine improvements and easy to manage. When you open SimLauncher it will advise you of any updates and download and installation is quick and easy. And you can do it at your convenience.

Re: Prepar3d: settings and news
Cheers for the heads up Ian. This works very well (2.5 today) and it make P3D much more usable!
Ben.
Re: Prepar3d: settings and news
Installed it at last, and it seems to do everything required quite nicely. Good to have a proper 'front end' in P3D now. Thanks for letting us know about it Ian.

Re: Prepar3d: settings and news
Sim Launcher now up to v3.2
This version has a tick box to set IFROnly=0 on start up. Very useful for P3D VFR AI.

Re: Prepar3d: settings and news
Nooooh .... That was a retrospective post about something I'd picked up after the event and hadn't commented on but which had actually been superseded by the other thing in a later version which I'd mentioned before the earlier thing that I mentioned later.Vancouver wrote:I think you mean v3.2 begorrah.
Do try and keep up

Sod it, I'll wait for v4 tomorrow.

Here's one for all of us using Nvidia Inspector - and a change of mind by Kosta.

Basically, it boils down to setting anisotropic filtering mode to 'application controlled' in N.I. and then enable it in the display settings in FSX and/or P3D.
Don't ask me what the benefit is; I just do as I'm told.
