White scheme this time..
I cracked and bought AS16.. the upgrade version PCA are selling it for 30% off ($20) and I had a $5 coupon so all in all.. £13.32 aint bad Not given it a full roasting yet but happy thus far. Seems damned quick.. quicker than ASN and I didn't think that was possible!!

Thanks Aharon
I appreciate the TriStar isn't everyone's cup of tea but I've always had a fondness for it

Looks better in white than the grey scheme I think. (Won't mention the desert pink ones )

Its a beautiful model indeed!
Dave, forgive me for my ignorance, but is this the Just Flight Tristar release?
Is it too heavy on frames!? Just curious.
(Still using the old Eric Cantus L-1011s!)

Hi Rui
Yes.. it's the original JF model. I never bothered upgrading it to the later 'Professional' pack because a) I don't fly it enough and b) this one is already heavy enough on frame rates!! It ran like a slideshow on my 3gig E8400 but my i5 just manages to hang onto it. Even so.. flying with real weather from Norway to Wattisham had it struggling to redraw textures both inside and out toward the end of the flight. I can't imagine the CaptainSim model being any less heavy on resources either.

Re: A bit more TriStar..
Thats what I fear...got the DC-10, and while flying around Victorville, Andrews Air Force Base, all goes wel....when approaching San Francisco and other major airports I started having Memory issues, FSX stopping instantly , a real nuisance....back to Eric Cantus DC-10 soon, will upgrade those textures, at least it doesnt crash my FS...thanks Dave.
