Re: computer build help
All above good advice although I suggest minimum 6GB of DDR3 RAM for Win7.
And don't skimp on the PSU - get 1000 Watts minimum which leaves plenty of juice spare for any further upgrades.

Re: Nvidia 8800GT Just went bang!
Try the 9800GT, I swapped out my ATi 4850 for this one I got cheap in Best Buy for just under $100 which should translate to about 60 pounds ( don't know the ASCii for the pound sign :-)
I always was an ATi man but have mended my ways, this Nvidea rocks.

Re: Aerosoft San Francisco
Make sure your PC has the grunts to run it, it is a FPS killer for some reason. I have London and NYC by the same producers and they are fine, but for some reason SF is a struggle. I have an Intel I7 920 processor with 6Gb DDR3 ram and a Radeon 9850. OS is Vista 64.

Re: Aerosoft's FSX Catalina
Ooooerrr! I think you mean Marlene Dietrich as opposed to Edith Piaf. It is a wav file called CAT_M.wav within the Aerosoft_PBY-5A_Mil\sound\Aerosoft_Sound_System_Cat.
Daresay it's doable to change it.

Re: Viscounts in FSX & panels issue.
Thanks Rick, I cannot believe how dumb I was there (and for the past 3 days swapping the Viscounts in and out, trying diff permutations etc) I knew that all along but brain was not engaged. I guess that it is because when I fly bigger aircraft with VC I prefer the 2D 'pit and of course in looking ar...

Viscounts in FSX & panels issue.
SIrs I have searched as best I can for a resolution to my problem with no luck, so I wonder if one of you can assist me. I have finally got a PC that can run FSX satisfactorily and I have now moved over to it 100%. I have installed Ricks great Viscounts from CBF downloads together with their updates...
