The Argosy in FSX
G'day chaps, I hope you are all doing OK in these difficult times. I am a bit late on parade but I have moved into the modern era (ha ha) with FSX. Most aircraft are doing fine but I am finding turboprops harder to master than the piston-engined stuff. With persistence I have got many of the turbopr...

Re: Rick Piper Viscount
If I remember rightly on the both the Viscount 700 and 800 you:
John
- Descend at Flaps 2
- Approach at Flaps 3
- Deploy Flaps 4 after touchdown for braking

Re: Radar Contact 4 now freeware
That thread says it is a Visual Basic 6 Runtime file. The official source for this is at: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24417 As I read that thread, that should install it properly and fully, without any other fancy faffing. It will certainly do no harm to try. Like you I ...

Re: EGPB Scenery Please
A little anecdote: Once when I was in Shetland the newspaper flight came in on the short runway but ran off the end, across the road and settled nose-down on the rocks between there and the sea. All you could see from the road was its tail. For the islanders it was a national disaster - no concern s...

Re: HS 748 updated panel problems
As an aside to this thread, I just wondered if anyone knows if there are any airworthy 748s remaining anywhere? According to Wikipedia there's a preserved series 1 type preseserved at Liverpool's Speke Airport but I assume it's not fly able. *-) EricT To go back to an early question in this thread,...

Re: British Eagle BAC 1-11
Just a follow-up in case others wish to do the same - I did try the FS2002 aircraft as AI but have encountered a few problems. It will taxi out from a parking spot if it is forward facing but if it needs to perform a push-back it just vanishes after obtaining clearance. I'm hoping it is fixable with...

Re: British Eagle BAC 1-11
Thanks for the quick reply, Colin. I have found the mentioned FS2002 one on Flightsim.com - need to do some testing but it will probably do OK for AI.
Best regards,
John

British Eagle BAC 1-11
Does a British Eagle 1-11 exist for FS2004? My virtual skies lack one (six, actually) but I don't mind how many pollywotsits it has. I've looked everywhere but have probably missed the obvious.

Re: AI Traffic Generator Program
Hi John, Yes it is the same one but the one I got must be updated as it is for FS9, thank you for the interest mate, I'm the same Col that contacted you on FlightSim in a PM not long ago by the way. ;) I was playing about with the program earlier today, I fathomed out a few more things like subtrac...
