Re: Air Show Downunder 2023 not for me
Just my experience of an electric mobility scooter I paid just under £900 for mine 2 years ago. Its a pavement variety limited to 4mph & breaks down into 3 pieces the heaviest quoted at 19kilos. Range possible 16 miles but I think less if travelling flat out everywhere. I have 9 inch inflatables...

Re: Viewing texture/map in gmax viewports
I've been tearing my hair out these last few months trying to sort out my Gmax installation & this one was the last straw, until having written the query I sat down & my memory got jogged! Always the way aint it. Its also surprising how much one can lose when one has built up a working syste...

Re: Viewing texture/map in gmax viewports
Problem solved!!! Top right of screen there are icons for selecting Standard Primitives, Modify, Heirarchy, Motion, Display & Utilities. In the Display drop down one can opt for Material or Object color for Wireframe or shaded view in the viewports. This setting must be project dependent, not fi...

This question is a follow-on from my problem with obtaining Middleman,(which has been resolved by using the installed version) so I can now create .mdl & .x files. My current problem comes when applying textures - I cannot view the textured result in the viewports, so unable to position the text...

Re: Spitfire simulator for sale
I wonder if it started life in the ATA Museum in Maidenhead. I had a supervised 'flight' there in a good hardware cockpit but instrumentation display not realistic at that time in 2015, but someone had done a very realistic control column with little or none spring effect feeling. My fathers ATA log...

Re: Merry Christmas everyone
Graham, thank you for your end of year 'well wishes' that link worked very well. I think this year because of the postal strikes & what not, we will utilise Jacqui Lawson a lot more this year, having been a member for at least 20 years! So Merry Christmas to all from us & may the New Year br...

Re: Airspeed - Mike Johnson
Glad to hear you are home, but not fully mended, so please take it easy and eat & swallow your food properly. (NHS website says pneumonia can be caused by food entering windpipe).

Re: Chris Files Middleman
Pete, What I'm really after is the Chris File's raw Middleman . I have found that in a buried gmax on a usb stick, Middleman v1.0.3 is installed but thats after rename so not sure how one would isolate it to install in another (clean) system. I have all the other original files, gamepacks, MDL Comma...
