They would be the two choices mate.. one for the 802/806 and the 810 for that and all after  To be honest, if you start with engines running and fuel in all 4 tanks and don't go high enough to get icing (already sounds a lot doesn't it).. you can get away with flying it straight out of the bo...

   Agreed John. This is one panel where you MUST RTFM as failing to do so will have you going nowhere. I fly it quite a lot in the VA and still I can manage to forget something.. inter engine cocks left closed.. outer tank pumps left on.. fuel trim incorrect!! Most rewarding to...
cool  its a really nice model practical to use etc, just needs a more interactive panel.
If the panel I'm using was any more interactive, I'd never get it off the ground. You might find a search on Flightsim.com productive.

Re: Viscount G-AOHR

It was one of a very small number of those scrapped at the time to wear full BA livery. I read an article many years ago about a school that had the nose of 'HR I have never been able to find any pics or real information about it. I doubt very much if they still have is unless it's hidden in a shed...

Thanks for all the replies - both private and public. Rather than get deep into lengthy correspondence with everybody individually, I'll let slip that the current focus of attention is on Cyprus although other locations will, I'm sure, come later (including the UK). If anyone has data on frequencies...
Well, I've just flown her and she's pretty nice. You must trim her prior to take off or you'll find yourself still on the ground rapidly running out of runway!!!
Duxford is a piece of cake for an Argonaut if you don't try it with too much fuel/payload aboard ...

Hi Chaps, A lot of large FS turbo-props won't sit still (unbraked) on the ground, or are difficult to taxi, mainly because MS have never developed proper FDEs for large turbo-props and everything is really a jazzed up light aircraft. There are a couple of tricks that may help: In the aircraft.cfg un...

Sounds fun - my recollection of two past visits were that it was branded as a Tiger Moth Rally and I don't recall anything else of DH manufacture there.

I do remember that there was no airstrip as such, the aircraft just landed on a flat area of grass.

Airport frequencies

Greetings, I'm helping a friend with some AFCADs for some airport sceneries he is working on for the 1970s era. Its not for me to announce the locations before he is ready, but I wondered if anybody can help with tower/ground frequencies etc for now-closed airports? Presumably in the past such thing...
