Re: Aircraft Factory P51-H

Have now realised that my so called 'techniques' were of my own doing and now flown the Mustang for a few hours am really enjoying it. Landings now are fine each and every time and today have flown from one side of England to the other. The plan now is to test the range and fly from South to North. ...

Re: Aircraft Factory P51-H

Just got mine today and very pleased with it. Something that little bit different. Finding it easier to take off as opposed to the D models, but landings are a little interesting. Can't quite three point it (yet) but nothing serious. Least is good practice waiting for the A2A T-6 to emerge. Think wi...

Re: BLACKBURN B2

Have asked around and even with the reply of a Shuttleworth Engineer no one seems to know.......most think its either fuel, but not sure myself or carb heat. Some replies are shall we say a little bit more interesting......."For switching something off and on", "It's an on / off switc...

Re: BLACKBURN B2

We had talked about the possibility of a B2 before and that was when I did have an interest in the simulator, which has waned recently :( A good friend of mine works at Old Warden and very kindly took for me a series of high resolution photos to aid in such a project. Took me ages to find them this ...

Must be good, being so involved with the real thing!
Been at it for over 30 years now and now more busy that was before. Lots of projects to work on and today been asked by A2A to act as an advisor to the project. Very pleased about that.

A2A T-6 Project

Well there I was, thinking when was the last time I fired up the sim (a few weeks ago) and kind of loosing interest in it all and today A2A announce that they are to build a T-6 of some sort for FSX. So perhaps I will stay around for a little while longer! Just hope that they don't build a T-6G like...

Re: FTX Trees

I was quite happy using the FS2004 trees from Shep's Shed for my local area (Cornwall and parts of Devon) and then went and bought at Christmas, Alderney for £1 from Earth Simulations. Installing this, its changed all of my lovely trees to theirs and not being a fan of Treescape, am at the moment st...

Re: Classic Air Force Newquay to close

The latest I've heard is that the Varsity, Single seat Hunter, Sea Hawk and possibly the Harrier (depending on what the Navy say) are to go back to Coventry, along with all of the static engines and a simulator. Not sure if this is the one that I built and if so they will need new scenery! Big big m...
