+1, but it's a better effort than the new AA livery...WhisperJet wrote:Very basic.
But for me it's like in 80% of livery relaunches - I like the old one better... at first glance...

Re: Want to fly a Harrier simulation?
We also have a 1-11 simulator too but I think the chances of that working again are slim. Last time I saw it it was in bits in the back of the Strat Chamber. When I say 'bits'.. you wouldn't know it was even a simulator let alone a 1-11. I saw Aer Lingus's 1-11 simulator when it was in Dublin Airpo...

Re: Want to fly a Harrier simulation?
One thing's for certain: there are Harrier simulators "around" that you'll get for a lot less than 90K... You can be sure that the seller here did.
Edit: Mind you, if you guys already have simulators at Brooklands, etc that's probably all the surplus ones that there are?

Re: Home build B737 cockpit simulator
A friend of mine had a 747 simulator that he sold to a group that builds 737 simulators. Basically, they stripped out all the instruments, avionics and computer hardware and...

Re: News: New 'American Airlines' Livery
One problem I do have with the tail is the subtle tining within the blocks has failed and leave it looking like they need another coat of paint. *-) Exactly. It might have been a bolder statement had the blocks of colour been solid rather than messed up with all those grads. The eagle head looks li...

Re: News: New 'American Airlines' Livery
The first thought that went through my head was OMG it's Cubana!  The old livery was definitely a bit dated but I wish the change wasn't so extreme. :( Brian It does feel like Cubana!!! Certainly not the worst modern scheme, which is perhaps damning it with faint praise. But the grey is ...

That's one I hadn't heard before. Thanks for posting it. I've also ordered the Cedric Flood book as it looks like an interesting read.
