Re: Monitors Monitors Monitors
FWIW, I have a Sony 32” HDTV which I connect to my PC through a standard HDMI-HDMI cable or a Lightning-HDMI cable depending upon which PC I am using. Results are perfect at a viewing distance of about 4’, except for some financial data pages with small font sizes which I have to enlarge in my brows...

Update of DaveG's Beaufighter posted
DaveG,
I just found an update of your Beaufighter posted at SimViation by Philippe Wallaert. I don't know whether you gave permission for this, but thought you should know that it is there.
Hope this helps,
Ro

Re: X-Plane 11 My Verdict
Thanks and, yes, it does, but it raises an interesting conundrum - do we believe LR, or do we believe a Steam user, because both cannot be true ! Take your pick . . .

Re: X-Plane 11 My Verdict
Thanks - that's more than I got from LR. However, if the Steam-XP11 follows the same method as the LR-online-XP11 then it's not just a case of an online check at start-up.
Oh well - another idea goes up the spout . . .

Re: X-Plane 11 My Verdict
Yes, I know about running Steam games offline - all of my current games do that. But what I don't know is whether Steam-XP11 will run when offline - especially given that LR say that their own online version must be online to play.
But thanks for the reply,
Ro

Re: X-Plane 11 My Verdict
It’s my understanding that if you buy the XP11 DVDs, you have to keep one disc in the player while playing the game, and if you buy the online version you have to stay online to play. What happens with the Steam version ? Can you play the game while the PC is offline ?
Thanks for any help,

X-Plane payware scenery products
I recently got a newsletter from the XPlane.org store about their new Bella Coola product. It says that this is one of the few sceneries that has more than just a summer season appearance - it can be configured to give a winter scene. I wonder if anyone can tell me what other sceneries have the same...
